One of my ultimate self care practices is taking a bath to soak away my overwhelm. It’s so relaxing and it helps me to find balance in my busy schedule!
According to Livehack.org, taking a bath is has been known to soothe muscle tension, improve brain function and respiratory health.
For me it’s a time to smoothe over racing thoughts and an amazing opportunity for a digital detox!
I like to infuse my bath with salt and essential oils to enhance my experience!
Essential oils affects the limbic system which can boost your mood and relieve fatigue.
Here’s my ultimate bath time peace recipe!
- 2 cups of salt
- 4 drops doTERRA Balance essential oil
- 4 drops doTERRA Peace essential oil
- 1 glass of wine (optional but highly recommend, red wine is rich in antioxidants😉)
Add all the ingredients (except the wine) in a hot bath and soak up all the goodness!
TIP: light some candles and add some relaxing tunes!
